Aaron P. Risen, President

Mr. Risen is a veteran in the physician recruiting and staffing business since receiving his undergraduate degree from Ohio University in 1980. He began his career as a recruiter and scheduler with one of the largest, multi-hospital emergency physician contract groups in the country. He continued his career for the ensuing 15+ years in permanent physician recruitment, focusing on several surgical specialties and managing the physician recruiting division for one of the largest hospital alliances in the country.

Over the span of his career he has worked with countless hospital CEOs, COOs, group practice managers and key physician decision makers on practice development, physician compensation and contract negotiation issues resulting in the successful recruitment of over 150 physicians. He has extensive experience in working with Physicians and Clients in the specialties of emergency medicine & primary care, all surgical specialties, Nephrology, and Allergy and Immunology.

Prior to forming The Surgeons-Link, Mr. Risen held the position of Director of Physician Recruitment with a Florida based physician practice management company. Mr. Risen is also the owner of MedSearch America which provides permanent placement of physicians in various medical specialties.

Carmen A. Renaldy II, Vice President

Mr. Renaldy has been in the medical staffing business since receiving his undergraduate degree from Ohio University in 1980. He began his career as recruiter and scheduler with one of the largest, multi-hospital emergency physician contract groups in country. In 1984, Mr. Renaldy was invited to join a colleague in the start up phase of a major Atlanta-based locum tenens agency, where, because of his hard work and relationship building skills, he excelled in bringing new business to the agency. In the late 1980's, he and his colleagues pioneered the concept of providing anesthesia contract management services to hospitals around the country, giving Mr. Renaldy significant insight into the daily operations of Anesthesia & Surgery Departments.

Seeking new challenges, he worked his way up to executive level management as a Director and Executive Vice President for two other national, multi-specialty locum tenens firms. He was instrumental in the successful start-up and growth of both companies, having led the expansion of one of the companies by increasing annual revenue from $1 million to over $15 million in 5 years.

Mr. Renaldy's career experience spans all aspects of the locum tenens business - from recruiting, staffing, marketing and credentialing, to organizational development and strategic planning Mr. Renaldy is also President of Med-Link Staffing, Inc., which provides temporary Anesthesia physician staffing services to Anesthesia physician groups and hospitals across the country.
